Political leftists are like dangerous animals, so they must be treated with extreme caution. Hipster-writer Gavin McInnes interviewed some of them at the Trump rally the other day in New York, and this much is clear: The hatred spewed by leftists is exceeded only by their craven stupidity. Don't laugh. A rabid dog is "stupid", but can still mortally wound a human. Read all about it in Fear and Loathing at the Trump Rally.
Patrick Buchanan, on the other hand, writes about the GOP's great conundrum. Its electoral coalition is based on three groups with distinct ideas and philosophy. The question is whether they can unite to defeat the Democrat leftists. Says Buchanan, "While the GOP appears headed for a train wreck in Cleveland, the principal ingredients of a Republican victory and a Republican future will all be present there: Cruz conservatives and Tea Party types, Trumpite nationalists and populists, Rubio-Kasich-Bush centrists and moderates. Political statesmanship could yet bring about unity, and victory, but unfortunately the smart money is on ego getting in the way." (You can read the whole thing HERE if you like.)
