Maggie Hassan Statement on State Senate's Tabling of HB228

MANCHESTER, NH – Democratic candidate for Governor Maggie Hassan released the following statement after the State Senate Health tabled HB228.

“I applaud the Senate’s tabling of HB228 which would cut funding for birth control, cancer screenings, and other preventive care at Planned Parenthood and other women’s health care centers.  If this bill ever came to my desk as Governor, I would veto it.
